A native Pittsburgher, Dr. Bollens is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College. Following veterinary school, Dr. Bollens practiced in the Washington D.C. area for 5 years before returning to Pittsburgh to work at North Boros, which was founded by his grandfather. Dr. Bollens has passionately provided care for small animals for 20+ years and enjoys surgery as well as preventative medicine. He is a member of the AVMA and WPVMA. When not caring for your dog or cat, Dr. Bollens can be found spending time with his wife, two daughters and their bulldog, Dixie. He also enjoys golfing, skiing and cheering for his hometown sports teams.
